How do I buy tickets?

All Banana Bus services and bookings are made through the easy to use Banana Bus app, which is available on both Apple and Google App stores. Just search Banana Bus.

 

Do I have to be 18+?

No, those 16+ are welcome to use Banana Bus services; however please make sure that you are of age to enter the festival/event Banana Bus is taking you too.

 

When can I book my Banana Bus ticket?

You can book your Banana Bus ticket the same day the festival starts selling tickets. Banana Bus makes it easy to lock down your travel plans.

 

What does my ticket get me?

A seat on Banana Bus is like no other. As part of your Banana Bus experience, you will greeted by your experienced and friendly Banana Bus Captain, who will check you in, store your luggage and provide you with your exclusive Banana Bus festival pack as well as travel to and from the festival/event.

 

Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?

Yes, each Banana Bus customer must book their own ticket through their own account on the Banana Bus App.

 

Can I change my pickup/drop off location?

Yes, subject to availability Banana Bus will happily work with you to alter your travel plans. Please email info@bananabus.com.au as soon as possible for the best chance to change your ticket. (Refer to T&Cs for further information).

 

Can I be picked up and dropped off at separate locations?

Banana Bus prides itself on making your festival experience as easy as possible, therefore, if we can make it happen, we will. Please send through your request and ticket info to info@bananabus.com.au

  

Can I change the ticket holder’s name?

Yes, this is possible. Please send over your change of ticket details and we will assist you. info@bananabus.com.au

 

Can I get a refund?

Booking cancellation requests at least 5 business days prior to your scheduled departure date are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price.

 

Cancellation of bookings within fewer than 5 business days but more than 72 hours before booked departure time, are entitled to 50% refund of the original purchase price.

 

Cancellations within fewer than 72 hours of booking are NOT entitled to a refund or credit for future travel.

 

What do I need to show to get onto the bus?

All you need to show your Banana Bus Captain is your in-app ticket and valid I.D.

 

My QR code won’t load?

Not to worry, send over an email to info@bananabus.com.au and we’ll help you sort it out.

 

What if my phone dies and I can’t show my QR code?

Don’t worry, we have plans in place for these situations, as long as you have your valid I.D. with you.

 

What if I lose my Banana Bus wristband?

Impossible.  The only way to remove your wristband is to cut it off. You must keep your wristband on to ensure you can ride the Banana Bus.

 

Is there a limit on how much luggage I can bring?

All Banana Bus bookings include a set amount of luggage. You are welcome to bring up to the equivalent size(s) of 1 (one) large suitcase/bag of camping gear, as well as 1 (one) smaller carry-on bag you will comfortably be able to store under your seat for your journey.  As always there is limited space on-board, so please use your common sense, don’t over-pack and if travelling with friends, share the load.

 

Is there anything I CAN’T bring on the Banana Bus?

No weapons, no alcohol, no illicit drugs, no bikes, no large bulky luggage and no DICKHEADS.

 

What if the pickup time changes?

Great question. If for some reason Banana Bus needs to change your pickup time you will be notified in a timely manner.

 

What if I’m running late?

We ask everyone to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Unfortunately no refunds are available for those who are unable to be on time. Please allow yourself ample time to arrival.

 

Will the Banana Bus have a bathroom on board?

Like Mum and Dad always say, it’s best to plan ahead. Make sure you do what you gotta do before getting on the bus. Not all Banana Bus services have on-board bathrooms; however toilet breaks are scheduled for those long drives.

 

Will we make any stops on the journey?

Banana Bus will schedule bathroom/smoko breaks for long journeys .

 

Where will the bus pick us up from at the end of the festival/event?

Great question.  We can’t be leaving anyone behind. The pickup point for your return trip home will be where you were dropped off when arriving at the festival/event. Please be at the pickup point at least 15 minutes before the departure time. Your Banana Bus Captain will be waiting for you.

 

What if the bus leaves without me?

We never want this to happen; this is why it’s important for you to plan ahead and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Unfortunately if you snooze you lose.

 

Does the Banana Bus cater to patrons with special needs?

Absolutely. Banana Bus prides itself on getting everyone to and from festivals/events. If you have special needs or travel requirements, please contact us before booking your ticket so we can work with you how to give you ‘your best trip’.  info@bananabus.com.au
